Slammers proudly welcomes new softball instructor Jessica Barnes. Jessica is a graduate of Denver East High School where she is now the assistant varsity coach. Jessica Led the state in E.R.A, strikeouts, and opposing batting average in high school, earning all-state honors her last three years. She went to the University of South Carolina on a full-ride schoarship and was a starter for two years before suffering a career ending injury. Holds a USC record for single game strikeouts with 15 and ended her final season with a 1.35 ERA and a .235 opposing batting average. Graduated in May 2008 with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management.
