Slammers/Dakota Ridge Youth Fall League

The Slammers/Dakota Ridge Baseaball Association Fall Youth League is for players & teams ages 7-14 who want to get more innings of baseball in the fall. The Slammers/ Dakota Ridge Youth Fall League is run by former Major and Minor league players with over 60 years of combined baseball experience. With the popularity of baseball exploding in Colorado, it is time for players to experience an organized, well-run Fall Competitve League. Every member of our staff is committed to making this the premier fall league in the state. Our goal is to insure continuity in learning for all players, coaches and parents.

WHAT YOUR FEE COVERS:

GAMES:

• 10-14 games total (games will be 1 hour 45 minutes) Games will be played on Saturday's and Sunday's.Flexible scheduling for multi-sport teams.
• Post season tournament (single game elimination)
• METAL OR WOOD BATS ALLOWED
• PRACTICES:
• Outdoor Practice times for each team
• 6 hours of tunnel time per team for the season (each coach will be given an internet tunnel card to be used to set up workouts indoors at Slammers)
• Instructional camp prior to the beginning of the season to go over Hitting, Fileding and pitching with Slammers instructors (each team will given a team workout covering fundamentals.
• 20 token card per team for the season (each fall coach will be given a 20 token punch card to be used at Slammers indoor batting cages)
• Discounted rates on tunnel time for the season.(5.00 off 1/2 hour tunnels and $10.00 off 1 hour tunnel rentals)

  13-14 year olds- Pitching: 54', Bases: 80'
  11-12 year olds- Pitching: 50', Bases: 70'
  9-10 year olds- Pitching: 45', Bases: 65'
  8 & Under - Pitching: 40', Bases: 60'

UNIFORM:

• T-Shirt and hat will be provided for teams without their own uniforms.
• We encourage teams to wear the summer uniforms and enter the league as an entire team.

LEAGUE INFORMATION:
With this league you are scheduled for 10-14 games (this includes the pre season seeding tournament, league games and post season single elimination tournament.

August 20th: Coaches meeting - Mandatory Clinic and uniform/equipment hand out.

August 21st/22nd: PLAYERS INSTRUCTIONAL CAMPS 
Place: Slammers Lakewood.

Ages 8 and under: 8 - 10 am
Ages 9 and 10: 10:30am-12:30 pm
Ages 11 and 12: 1:30-3:30 pm
Ages 13 and 14: 4-6 pm

August 28th/29th: Seeding Games

Sept 11th/12th: Seeding Games

Sept 18th/19th: League Games

Sept 25th/26th: League Games

Oct 2nd/3rd: League Games
